August 16 Beach Party
at Valleytown Cultural Arts Center. Proceeds go to bathroom upgrades, donations accepted and are tax deductible. Ed Cloud will DJ. 8-11 PM. Tickets at door.
September 12-13 8th Annual Appalachian Highland Games
Tests of strength, music, dancing, crafts, food, fun facts and fun for children of all ages await at the 8th Annual Appalachian Highland Games at the Andrews Recreation Park on Main Street in Andrews. Join us in the evening on Friday, Sept. 12th for our Ceilidh and spend Saturday with us watching the athletes, dog demonstrations, and much more. Andrews Art Museum new exhibit opening, 5:00pm - 7:00pm
September 27 Valley River Mountain Festival
A bike race, a 5k run, all sorts of sport competitions, skeet, archery, games, prizes, food and bluegrass. It will be hosted at the camp. 75 Mae Johnson Way.
October 4 Valleytown Cultural Arts Center
Andrews Art Museum new exhibit opening, 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Oct 11-19 Chautauqua AVÉ!
A week-long annual event with lectures and entertainment (music & theater). This will be our 6th year of providing quality events most of which are held in the historic Valleytown Cultural Arts Center. Admission is by voluntary donation. Halloween Costume Party – October 31st - at Valleytown Cultural Arts Center. Proceeds go to bathroom upgrades, donations accepted and are tax deductible. Ed Cloud will DJ. Costume Contest. Costume not required to attend. $25 per couple or $15 each. 8-11 PM. Tickets at door.
